Hola,

Es posible tener una licencia CPL/ATPL JAR-irlandesa y renovar el medical en Espaņa ? o hay que hacerlo siempre en irlanda ?

Yes you can, but there is one condition, as far as I know. When you are doing a training for CPL, you should have a licence and medical from the same country (I don't know why, but that what I was told). But when you already have your CPL, you can do your medical in any JAA medical outfit. They might try to give you a hard time, but I have been doing this for a long time. I also have a spanish medical, but don't have a spanish licence.

alright, many thanks for the reply. Those JAR rules are sometimes difficult to understand. I have an ATPL licence with more than 1500 jar25 hours so, that's fine.

so I understand the other way around is also possible a Spsnish ATP with any given JAR country medical certificate i.e. UK or Germany???

Can anybody please confirm????
