Hi All
I stumbled across some quite interesting training videos on engine failure recognition.
They are quite old videos but I am sure they still serve their training purpose.
YouTube - pt. 1 of 3 Turbofan Jet Engine failure recognition (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nPN7CKEQaDQ&feature=channel_page)
The videos are in 3 parts, Part 2 is interesting to see some engine 'coughs'
Near the end of part 1 contains bird strikes and how to recognise the situation.
I like the quote "above all, fly the plane"
Its amazing what people put on you tube these days !
