Quickie question over the years have seen and read about exchange postings between us and the USAF, USCG, US Army and USN and USMC...what kind of equipment likely to fly apart from the below?

USAF
1) F-16
2) F-15
3) F-22
4) B-2A
5) KC-10
6) KC-135
7) C-17A
8) HH-60G

USCG
HH-65 (RAF, RN)

USN
1) F-14 (RAF pilot and WSOP
2) F-18 (RAF pilot and RN)
3) S-3B (RN Observer)
4) E-2C (RN Observer)
5) SH-60

US Army
1) AH-64A/D (AAC )
2) UH-1H (AAC)
3) UH-60A (AAC, RAF?)

I recall back in the 80s, a Sqn ldr Rick Pope ran the F-15E Strike Eagle Test Program at Edwards for the introduction of the E into the USAF.

Might be struggling with the F-14, they went out of service in 2006!:ok:

Don't think there's a 135 exchange.

But there is, or at least was a year or two ago, an EA-6B WSO exchange.

I am on exchange in the USA and currently fly the UH60L, SH60B and the OH58C. Hopefully, I will be UH72 qualified by the end of this year.

There are also exchanges on the AV-8B and MV-22 in the USMC.

At least one Brit flying USMC F18's in the past. A matter of fact he stepped out of it in the warning area off HNL.

But trying to wangle an exchange posting with the Iranian air force would no doubt be an interesting challenge.

I hear they give iPods and a nice suit upon one's leaving their posting...

Footnote

Judging by the variation of a/c especially the mention of the SH-60, apart from the reg army UH-60/OH-58C..are you a test pilot on exchange at Pax River?
