Seeing now we can now embed YouTube videos, I though I would give it a go with a VC-10 and C-17 I videoed at Birmingham in 2007.

This was one also met by an ambulance the size of a bus.
Anyone know why the VC-10s come in? Walking wounded?

Do you live with your head in a dustbin?

The VC10, as all RAFAT, are fully aero medivac capable meaning that stretcher cases are also carried - often and not just from sandy places but worldwide.
Our brave boys are brought home by the quickest means and most suitable platforms available. If you don't know why that isn't always a VC10 - you don't need to know!

Needless to say any RAF a/c at Brum is delivering a very valuable cargo

Could also be for Comp A reason.
