I see Phoebus are launching scheduled flights to BZV as of tomorrow. Anyone heard anything more substantial about the flights? Just curious.

It looks like they're starting with 1 weekly (Fridays) officially from next Friday (13/02), then go 2 weekly (adding Monday) from March. With DC9 aircraft.
It is actually continuing on to Libreville, JNB-BZV-LBV-BZV-JNB.
Suddenly the JNB-LBV route is served by 4 airlines, but not one more than 2 weekly flights, and only SAA nonstop. Inter Air also goes via BZV, Gabon Airlines go via Pointe Noire (PNR).
Also between them all, flights is still only on Monday (Inter+Phoebus), Wednesday (SAA+Gabon), Friday (SAA,Gabon+Phoebus).
Gabon Airlines has changed aircraft from 767-200ER to A310, for some reason this resulted in them reducing frequency for the next 6 weeks on the JNB-PNR-LBV route from 2 to 1 weekly with the A310 on Wednesdays, resuming the 2nd on 20 March on Fridays. In the meantime Trans Air Congo is scheduled to do the JNB-PNR sector on Fridays with a 737-200.
