Is ist your licence itself or a rating in your licence which expires?
If it is the licence, it should only be a matter of an administrative renewal, meaning you contact your state of issue and make them send you a new one.
Call your CAA and ask them...

Hiya,
If it's a UK issued JAA CPL it will cost you £126 (or it did me last month).
You can apply up to 6 weeks before expiry, and the CAA should send you the paperwork to do it with around that time.
From my own experience though, I reckon it's worth chasing them up after you've sent your paperwork in (even if they have cashed your money). Mine arrived back to me over a week late and required 5 telephone calls in the end.....but I guess they don't always forget to press the print button?! Second time they posted it out, they even managed to send me the right licence lol!
Good luck :D

Yes, the renewal forms arrived in the post yesterday.

GBP 126 for 5 year renewal increasing to GBP 132 from 1/04/09.

Nice trick that, getting someone to pay for something they already have! :D

Have a nice day
