I think there is the one where Mr Smiley investigates a murder at a public School, don't recall the title
Another called A Perfect Spy,but I don't think that features Mr S.
From the days out television produced good Drama not the shite tat they churn out now.

Agreed Mr D, I'm just waiting for my DVD copy of 'The Edge Of Darkness' to arrive after spotting a £9.95 deal for it in the Grauniad on Friday.

After "Tinker, Tailor...", watch "Smiley's People". Smiley goes after Karla.

As far as John Le Carré's books are concerned, "The Honourable Schoolboy" comes in between those two aforementioned TV series. Smiley attempts to discover the extent of the damage caused by Bill Haydon.

Apart from "The Naive and Sentimental Lover" I don't think Le Carré has ever written a duff one.
