I have to admit that I did know nothing about Atlasjet, a turkish airline, until very recently. They are going to operate some A330s for Saudi Airlines in a couple of months or so, I suppose.
I believe that they used to, or are still doing some business together.
Any info on the number of A330s that they are going to operate for them, when and the destinations if avail at this point in time.
Money is average. The ad says 6500 euros per month for captains + perdiem. Hotel and Breakfast provided, that is good.
Days off average as well. 6 weeks on, 10 days off. You pay for your airfares every time you go home.
Any info please.
Tks

Not a lot of money for an A330 Captain working 6 weeks on, 10 days off, in Jeddah - and pay your own airfare home too. Certainly not compared to other A330 vacancies advertised right now. I suppose it depends how many A330 pilots are scratching for work but things seem pretty bleak right now so who knows. I hear they're converting quite a lot of their existing A320 pilots on to it rather than paying the going rate though.

Atlasjet doesn't have A330. A320 and B757. At the moment, they have B757s on lease to Saudi airlines. I'm not sure, but I think it is a dry lease. Not a clue about the salaries.

Thanks to you all.
Some of us going to IST next week for the interview. Two days to do us all, no clue how many, for the interview sim and medical part.
Anybody with what to expect, technical exam or not and so on.
A330 sim in Istanbul or not?
Thanks again.

Dear laic

You go for the left or the right seat?

@ Sitting Bull,
Actually, after reading the interview invitation again, a couple of days after accepting it, I realized that it was of no mention of that. Never paid attention really since I had applied for a left seat position.
Regardless, I decided to go ahead anyway and bought the ticket, without asking for clarification. I'll just go and give it my best shot.
If I'm offered a right seat, depending on what they have in store for me in a decent future, I'll make up my mind, then.
