Ok this is definitely a non-story

But the first paragraph really takes the biscuit

Early reports suggested the Robinson R22 helicopter had crashed and burst into flames after losing power.

Wonder who gave that report??

Only one guy I know who flies for Northumbria from Boston and that's Geoff Day. He's CFI for them I believe.

Glad to hear it was a non-event.

Police say the aircraft - Robinson R22 - was brought down near Brampton after suffering mechanical difficulties.

Oh really!?!? For **** sake, no, they just landed it in a field and called the emergency services as part of the LPC, ahhhh no. :D
