Hey Guys,

Ive been asking aorund and cant seem to find any answers, what does a typical security check involve? If you have past criminal history will this prevent you from getting a job with an airline? Or even a CPL?

I was curious to know also if you are already hired by an airline and you commit an offence and have a conviction recorded against you (dui or something) do airlines do annual security check ect?

Cheers.

There is a whole thread on this topic below. It's quite a useful read if you've ever had a run in with the old bill.....

It's not just your potential employer, but BAA will put you through hoops, and without a BAA airside pass you are no good to anyone!

That said any employer will ensure that you can pass that!!
