Hi All,

New to PPRuNe, good job to everyone!

I am late twenties, just started my PPL and very excited (and relieved) that I have finally been able to start my new path in life. My question is this:

Do you think that I would be able to convince a Captain of a Commercial Jet to let me sit in the cockpit, just to sit quiet and observe? Don't know if that is the ultimate goal in aviation for me (far too early to tell, anything can happen), but it would certainly be great to see!

Thanks for reading,

L

Since 9/11 F/D visits during a flight are not permitted.

It has been discussed a few times on here,

Have a look at this http://www.pprune.org/passengers-slf-self-loading-freight/353540-jump-seat-rides-flight-deck-visits-where-do-us-enthusiasts-stand.html
