Hello everyone,

Currently I am looking for a MX provider for my CJ2+ in Central Europe.
Could you recommend any provider? Which provider should be not considered?

Central Europe? Thats Germany, innit?

I do have experience with Jet Aviation (their Düsseldorf and Basle shops), Atlas Air Service at Paderborn, Bremen and Ganderkesee and RUAG at Oberpfaffenhofen.

There is good and bad things at all of them. What I´d do if I were you, get quotes for several MX items you have to do regularly (such as Battery recondition), get quotes for travel to your homebase and if you need to operate under a CAMO, get quotes for that as well.

Depending on your operation I`d ask for exchange parts stock (mostly very little stuff on the shelf) and how they cover weekends etc.

A important point to me would be how many similar airplanes they have under contract and how many guys they have that can sign off (airplane and more important because more rare: avionics guys)

Did that for my current airplane, the differences are astonishing to say the least.

One last point is the availability of airportslots and opening times of the mx base. E.g.EDDL can be a pain in that respect. On the other hand its easy to commute to or from it, which is not the case for Oberpfaffenhofen...

Well, actually I haven´t thought it up, I stole it from one of my favourite movies, "the big lebowski" by the Cohen brothers.

El duderino might be a good one too...

Have you tried Gate V in VIE?

LearjetGA,

not yet , but have no experience with them.

I would like to chose one between (RUAG (EDMO)- Jet Aviation (ZRH), or Gate V (VIE) )

What is you experience with Jet Aviation? For RUAG "His dudeness" already has some intresting inputs.

THX a lot
