Two page article today in the ST Travel section concerning the services offered on board by the current 3 Operators of this aircraft. Nothing about turn round times. Bearing in mind all the food and drink, bedding, water for showers and so on, does anyone know what the time is for a full turn round?

Something sensible you ask?

You may want to look at the current crop of long/ultra long haul flights and see their turnaround times.

Even the single plane TATL 767/757 flights tend to have 2-3 hour T/As.

Bearing in mind all the food and drink, bedding, water for showers and so on..

This type of service of service will require multipe craft on either side to maintain consistancy so the inbound and outbound fligths will be on different crafts.

The article said 90 mins at SIN for a fuelstop, and I expect this includes all pax getting off whilst the cabin is cleaned before some of those pax plus others reboard the a/c.

I imagine that you might then be able to operate a full turnaround in less than 2 hours at a push, but not sure if any of the operators currently do.

There are now 5 turnrounds a day at Heathrow by the three A380 operators, the shortest scheduled is 1 hour 45 minutes by Emirates EK003/004 (1815/2000).
