Was transiting amberly today when a pan-pan was declared from what I think was an F-111 with gear troubles, another F-111 came in for a look, then it climbed to dump fuel before returning for a landing, listening in on tower it seemed they used the arrestor wire for the landing. I didnt hear anymore transmissions from the jet after the tower avised that emerg. veichles where entering the RWY.
