Saw a Dash 8 stuck in the grass this morning at BHX and was just wondering if anyone had more news on how this had happend.

It appears that after pushback the tug was disconnected and the aircraft rolled onto the grass. The TMX400 tug came out to try and pull it back on, the nose gear was happy to move but the mains wern't. Lots of fire engines and other vehicles later the aircraft was cleared and we got back to normal.

I heard it narrowly missed a school and the fuel depot at the airport when it rolled back into the grass.... :ugh:

:) nice one forget. But do I note that the "stretched" section is an EMB-145 by chance?
