I am looking for a manual, or at least an input/output pin schematic for KTR 9000 transceiver as well as a control unit if anyone has or knows of one not required. It does not need to be serviceable/tagged.

It is for a combination teaching aid/ground use only project.

TIA

The KTR 9000 transceiver is to ARINC 546, 60s vintage. So, as far as the rack wiring is concerned any 546 transceiver diagram will do the job. You're probably better off asking for a Collins 618M-1 diagram, much more popular and easier to come by. Unfortunately, there was never an ARINC spec for the controllers so they, and their wiring, could be anything - most likely Gables.

Both the KTR9000 and the 618M1 are top notch units, very reliable.
Yes, and most use Gables control heads...also good units.

For the manual try Essco Aircraft Manuals and Pilot Supplies. We are the Aircraft Manual People. (http://www.esscoaircraft.com)
