Hi all...

a quick question....

I would love to apply for a cabin crew job with BA but live in Leeds. i have a fiancee up north so moving to within 90 mins of LHR is pretty much a no go!

I have heard that some cabin crew live up north and fly down on bmi before starting work - how possible is this for me these days ?

i notice BA are currently recruiting for a Cabin crew hold pool, it does state you should live within 90 mins of the base airport though.

It shouldn't be a problem!

Many of our cabin crew, particulary on WW, commute. It's a bit more difficult on SH as the roster patterns are different and SBY is also done differently. Having said that, I know several crew on SH that do commute and more or less bid to make their rosters as convenient as possible.

It's actually not a requirement that you live within 90 minutes within your base. However, you need to get to the airport in time should you be used on days when you are either on standby or availability.
