"In other news... Frank Robinson, founder and head of Robinson Helicopters, Inc. announced his company's plan to introduce a new 'green' helicopter to the private sector. This machine will have a 500 hour life span and can be discarded using normal household recycling facilities."

Surely nobody could have expected it to stay airborne with blades that short.

You've got to give them 10 out of 10 for the crash landing, they even got it in the skip, how thoughtful!

JTobias
9th Jan 2009, 21:41
Ah ha! I've worked it out.
This must be the way to make a Robinson R44 more valuable.
Throw it in a skip and auction it off as a contemporary piece of art by Damien Hirst.

Clever!!! :ok:

(either that or it was formerly owned by Christiano Ronaldo!) :)

"Na, skip it, we've gotta get going"

Hey, a bit of duct tape and a bash it out with a flat rock, we'll send it to Aus, they'll muster a season or two with it then send it off for maintenance!.

Yeah that should buff right out!

So let us all get this straight Frank, the delamination was caused BY the accident?
