I had thought it was cut and dried - a)Boeing 777

However, in the course of verification I Googled a couple of bits of info which pointed towards d) Vickers VC10

I'd be grateful for a 100% correct answer

I always thought it was the Tu-154 but other than that I'd go with the VC10.

I m sure it was the VC10 althought the Coranado CV990 was the fastest

The VC 10 was produced when the fuel prices wer cheap
