Hi folks
Would anyone have a photo of the Bulldog 12 ship formation in Wadi Rhum Jordan, 24th July 1976?
Leader was Lee Jones and the hangers on were QFI's from the RJAA in Amman.
Flight magazine were on board to do a photo shoot, unfortunately the film fell out of an aircraft on the flight back to Amman.
I believe that one photo survived and made it on the back cover of Flight, however I have been unable to find a copy.
Your help would be appreciated,
Cheers

..my goodness...what memories I have of that trip! I was a very, very lucky 13 year old who went along for the ride! Tom Hamil was the flight photographer...and it was just over Petra where Marcus inverted the aircraft and Tom's cameras fell out!!! I have a feeling that it was Chris Golds who took the first image here.

Just as an aside, I worked with a group of ex RJAA pilots in Amman for a while in the 1990's...

They would talk of flying as pairs down the Wadi Rum at well over M1 in their Mirages; No 2 would watch the shock wave from N1 travel across the surface, so they said.

Can that have been true?
