Got a Uniden UBC3500XLT scanner for xmas but having trouble setting it up.

I've been through the manual several times but have just been blinded with science.

Has anyone got an idiots guide to using this? All I will be doing is going to Birmingham Airport (BHX) to listen in to what is going on.

Any help much appreciated!

Here's a link to an actual user who's written an easy to read online manual for this scanner, as the orignal as like "trying to set a Chinese watch"!

Easier to Read UBC3500XLT Manual (http://marksscanners.com/3500/3500.html)

I hope this helps.
