Ferry Pilots

With the recent collapse of XL, Futura, Zoom, Flightline and European to name but a few, I have often wondered who flies these aircraft into storage to places such as Lasham, Southend and Exeter etc. As the aircraft are mainly leased and once the airline has ceased operations, they will be presumably be uninsured to be flown by the defunct airlines' crews, who positions these aircraft. Do leasing crews have their own crews or is there a specialist operator that specifically ferries aircraft or is it a purely freelance operation by type rated crews?
