As released by Belgian authorities.

(The loud bang the report mentions is said to be due to bird ingestion, which would have been confirmed by DNA analysis of remnants found in #3).

No doubt, reverse thrust would have helped getting stopped sooner. Pulling the reverse levers should have been an instinctive [non memory] reaction, as usually practiced in the sim.

No mention if RTO auto brake setting was used.

Some other tidbits I just found out that were released at the press conference (don't know why it wasn't in the report).
-The loud bang was heard 4 seconds after V1.
-Take-off parameters were calculated on full use of runway but take-off roll began 300 meters off.

The preliminary report has been issued on 2 june... the other news have been released yesterday by the newspapers.

Engine n° 3 ingested a falcon; the pilot then elected to abandon take-off in spite of V1 having been passed six seconds earlier.
