French RF-84F Thunderflashes in Suez

I'm doing some research on the role of the recce units of the French Air Force in the Suez campaign. The two units involved flew RF-84s and were based at Akrotiri and in Israel. Please can anyone point me in the direction of some good references and has anyone any relevant photos they would be willing to share with me.

I picked up some information that, during the Suez campaign, the Israeli Air Force borrowed some French F-84 Thunderstreaks and painted the Star of David on the side; while leaving all other French unit markings intact. Does anyone have any further information on this?....or better still some photos!
