I came across this bit of film and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the title name of the film is please.

Absolutely "Das Boot". If you have never seen the film it is well worth the time. Brilliant. :ok:

Yup, definitely 'Das Boot'. If you want to get the film, buy the German version with English subtitles. I have seen an edition with dubbed English and it loses so much.

it actually says that the clip is from the film 'das boot' on the side underneath the user name.... :oh:

Don't think that is the original soundtrack though,only thing that spoiled the movie was the feckwit of a Captain,standing in corners wi a brooding look on his face thinking deep thoughts whist his poor crew ran around like blue arsed flies trying to stop the sub from sinking.

STALINGRAD from the same producer is also worth a watch.

100% Totally agree!

Someone bought me the dubbed version for Christmas and I was so cheesed off it landed in the bin!

Oh yer I enjoyed the filum,or did I watch the TV series?hmmm, anyway I still think that Kapitain was complete arse.
