Looking at their mins
i notice that 500 multi co-pilot time is acceptable
If this is the case is command available with only the co-pilot time ?

You missed some of it....

Minimum 1500 hours total aeronautical experience of which 500 hours may be helicopter time.

250 hours Pilot in Command of fixed-wing aircraft of which 150 may be ICUS.

The 1500hrs and the 250hrs is required for the ATPL, which you will need for command!

I was under the impression you always needed 500 multi command
to advance further with Airlines

That is a requirement of a Low Capacity RPT AOC. (Under 38-ish seats)

In Australia only:
Capt of low capacity RPT requires 500 Multi ICUS or Multi Command.
However due to companies wanting the F/O to be upgraded quickly if needed they stipulate the 500multi command time for that position also. -There is no legal requirement for it.

Even ICUS time is not accepted under some company mins such as Air North, despite in some cases pilots having the flying time being on something larger than the aircraft they operate.
