Heard this morning Mark Foster - ex RAAF, Ansett, Air Malta, Alteon - passed away early Friday.
He was one of aviation's gentlemen and will be sadly missed. Thoughts are with his family.

I first met Mark when he was desk bound at Russell Offices and he was flying the MU2 on night freight. There were two of them moonlighting and we called them Heckle and Jekyl Airlines. Very sorry to read of his passing.

Only found this thread now but would just like to bump it so that other friends and ex-colleagues of Mark can write their comments.
Mark was a top bloke and he worked with us (Air Malta) on and off for 3-4yrs, quitting when his wife was involved in a serious car accident. Soon after his own health problems commenced. A real gentleman who will be sadly missed. RIP Mark.
