Hi There,

A friend of mine got accepted by CX as direct entry FO in july 08, and his start date is only around september 2010... yes 2010. Might give you a slight idea...

No offense Silver Spur but I seriously doubt it. CX haven't confirmed any start dates for 2010 yet (won't be sorted until Oct 09) and haven't even stated whether or not they're hiring that year or not. Who's your friend?

I'm not quite sure how it all works, but say if CX is only expected to recruit in 2010, does this mean that they still continue interviewing or not?

what about cx cargo for fo with around 4000hrs (2000 med/jet)? not interested in pax anymore:ouch:

Same for CX Cargo/ Second officer pax fleet - the lot. At the moment no recriutment for 2009, to be reviewed in the 3rd quarter of 2009. While they are over crewed (apparently) and parking aircraft I cant see them interviewing (except cadets).
