Heard through the grapevine a 380 turned back due to electrical problems Dec 3. Anyone have any details?

Probably true. Etihad brought back a number of EK passengers from JFK on December 4th. Was told the 380 was unserviceable.

We've been told by engineers on the 4th in the morning, when BOTH A 380s were sitting on the new terminal's front side - well past their scheduled departure times - theat there is some serious problem whilst refuelling - leaving a massive fuel spill on the apron - they've been assuming some broken pipework in the wing !?:rolleyes:
