I wonder if anyone is able to assist?
I am seeking relatives of the aircrew of Avro Lancaster W4103 of 5 Lancaster Finishing School, which collided in midair with an Airspeed Oxford LB415 above the village of Screveton, Nottinghamshire, on 14 April 1944.

415800 P/O PATRICK WILLIAM LAIDLER RAAF (Aged 28)
Son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Laidler; husband of Veeni Edwina Horwill Laidler, of Mount Hawthorn, Western Australia.

Son of Tom Joseph and Margaret Jessie Herbert, of Crickhowell, Brecknockshire.

Hi Don, I'll ask my WW2 mate, He might have some information on this?

Amazingly alot of Lancs & Halifaxes were lost on Training Sorties.

Sometimes 'Head On'

Sadly, All part of the training!
