Saw this article in Flight; the operator isn't named, but I wonder if it related to the QR incident at JED a few months back?

Misconfigured A330 flight computers led to severe hard landing: EASA (http://www.flightglobal.com/articles/2008/11/29/319522/misconfigured-a330-flight-computers-led-to-severe-hard-landing-easa.html)

(Has the aircraft now been returned to service?)

It has nothing to do with QR or any aircraft in QR service.

I think it was the QR that was hurt badly in JED

The QR machine involved in Jeddah (A7-AEE) was very promptly reintroduced back into service. She (or one of her two identical sisters) is currently facing a long and agonizing wait at BKK's airport, unable to move!

It was a TAM Airlines A330-200 and it happened in September in JFK during a CAT II manual flown approach.
