If anybody on the AI contract has established exactly what the rule is on paying Indian tax I would really appreciate some feedback.

Many thanks

I am also interested in this contract but paperwork states "you are responsible for your own tax situation" that really helps! I believe this means I would have to pay tax on the salary being offered. This makes a $9000/month salary suddenly not seem very attractive for an NG skipper.

as far as the checkrides go. they ask you where you want to do your checkride back in the sates during your time off and they arrange for payment. only up to what the course recomends. no additional training if you need it will be paid by yourself. as far as taxes i know that your aare responsible for paying taxes to india only if the company reports to the country that they are paying you which they might not then it is your risk not to pay the taxes. i was told the tax rate is 33%. i am sure the company will help you out on who to pay.
