Ive already been asked by my company if transitting via Frankfurt or Zurich is OK vs Heathrow. It always was but the company deal was BA/QF via LHR. Not sure of we are exceptional or if this is going to be an adverse consequence of this change.
At a personal level for my own trips to EU/UK I will avoid departing long haul from the UK and arrange myself to start the home leg elsewhere.
