Has Etihad started the MFF project yet? Is the plan to have all 320 and 330 drivers dual qualified? Are there any other airlines that have implemented this concept succesfully already?

Thanks

QA just started a unique kind of MFF:

320 TREs / TRIs will start the CCQ to the 330 to fly mainly 320 with minimum 330 flying.
But the 330 masters refused to fly the 320, so they will only get a 320 CCQ as 320 simulator instructors (SFEs) with no flying at all on the 320.

That will result in a very unfair distribution of duty, 330 pilots will enjoy the 330 flights while 320 pilots will mainly do the hard daily work of line flying on the 320 with 1 or 2 flights a month on 330.

EY selected some of the pilots to do the MFF 320/330, but I have no idea how the roster is planned, is it one month 320 alternating with 330? Or is it a completely mixed roster?

I will know soon and get back to you.
