Hi
Can any one advise if there is requirement for flight dispatcher on both side of Atlantic for flight dispatch/release or this can be done with centralized dispatch.
If so please advise regulation details. Note flight makes tech landing in Europe both ways
Thanks

Under US Part 121, it is all done form a central office. For instance, I will release both CGN-EWR and EWR-CGN flights on a shift. I hesitate to say All, but I believer all US carriers operate from one dispatch office.

Now, as a non US carrier, I don't know. Some carriers have(or had at one time) a US dispatch office (Lufthansa comes to mind, but that was a while back).

I was advised by a friend that the regulation require flight dispatcher on both side of Atlantic and 2 independent ways of flight monitoring.?
I am looking for the same in writing. If any one comes accross please advise.
Thanks
