Just a quick query about Eva Air.

Am flying to Bangkok next month and Eva Air have economy seating on the upper deck. When pre-selecting seats they told me that the upper deck is not allocated until departure day.

Any advice on how I can get seats upstairs? What is their policy on this?

Thanks!:ok:

Check in online and select your seats on the day of departure?

There are no economy seats on the upper deck.

Yes there are, according to Seatguru (http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Eva_Airways/Eva_Airways_Boeing_747-400_380.php).

Airborne, I would suggest arriving at the airport early and kindly asking the check-in staff to seat you on the upper deck. You may find that these economy seats are normally reserved for premium passengers (frequent fliers for example), and so are normally only allocated on the day.

Thanks guys.

LarryDCableGuy - the upper deck is all economy on the flight I am travelling on. I have already checked in online and it showed the seating plan, but upper deck was blocked until departure day.

I will have to smile sweetly at the airport!
