I think we need to vote NO on this issue. Remember we voted NO last time and it was forced on us by S.T. I cannot see the company being able to handle the enormous amount of sick calls that would be forthcoming with issues like no "A" days or Jokers.

Remember the company is violating just about every agreement and our COS, with issues like onshoring, DEC's,DEFO's,Extensions, BPP, age 65. Why would we think we are going to get a better deal in a year? 3 man ULH? I hope that the company will realise the implication of that. Captain's have already said they will take most of the rest and make the relief folks sit in seat for 9 or 10 hours, um I Don't think so!

Now is the time we really REALLY need to start taking a stand. This is a very VERY important issue that has far reaching implications. Again, we voted down RP07 the first time.:=

Saturn, firstly you are not going to stop 3 man ULH. If it does not come in when the company cancels RP07 it will come in when it expires. Voting no is not going to make one bit of difference!

As the new FTL now stand, 3 man ULH will be quite restrictive. In order to do it , you will have to have physiological rest after the fist sector, which means no 3 day London patterns it also means no more 4 day patterns either!

If I was you I would stick to the AOA recommendation and let the new leadership do the talking!:ok:

No they're not..

The above was all voted for by the fantastic AOA who.. made recommendations to it's members to vote "yes" on the above issues...

It was however voted down 1st time, but this was not suppose to happen and voila!..It magically passed second time round..

In the real world it's called: VOTE RIGGING..CORRUPTION...call it what you like..
Main point is the AOA has NEVER..and will NEVER do anything for it's members..period.:yuk:

100% non-AOA:ok:

What is wrong with you that you would need to write somethig like that? I was merely expressing an opinion. One must be pretty disturbed to just blantantly attack some one for bringing up an importany issue.

Saturn, please explain why voting no will help us at all, at least if we vote yes we will give the AOA more time to try and talk to CX management. Its true, the AOA doesn't do much, but why roll over without a fight?

Jack(ass), surely you can do better than a one liner......

But the personal attacks are not really necessary. Voting NO I believe would make it harder on CX to properly crew the airline as most in North America are on "A" days. Imagine all of of a sudden many having to sit reserve in LAX or SFO. Sick calls would go through the roof.

As far as negotiating; The company has not been operating in good faith!!! What do we think we would get next time? I tell you right now we MUST get credit back for ALL reserve served. We must get a higher PX credit and if we save money on a ticket we still get the Rostered Credit. No more nickle and diming nonsense.

We also must have comprehensive fixes to ALL that is going on. RP07/AFTL's are just a few of the issues NOT being addressed right now. I believe the company would just violate any new agreement as they did with the last so in the very least wording/verbage MUST be clear. I think we should start from sratch as RP04 and RP07 were both failures.

These are only opinions. Debate and disagree but please stop the silly personal attacks on folks. This is THE PROFESSIONAL PILOTS rumor network.
