Was the Schiphol catering dept really on fire today ?

We had a slight delay on take off this AM from AMS.
Excuses ranged wide and furious ...

First it was blamed on Schiphol catering.
Later during the flight a cabin crew member said it was Libyan catering that was at fault and they had to take the return leg catering as well.
End result :


No regular food as per menu.
No Movies
No Duty Free
The Captain (brave man - ** Applause ** ) then came to each and every pax and explained they had a fire in the AMS catering dept.

Anyone with some exact info ?
Any crew or pax had the same discomfort today ?
