Hello,
I have question (before complying some fitting tests in actual airplane), am I too tall for Lj60? I have heard, that cocpits of older learjets are designed for max 1.90 tall pilots. I am 1.97 but fitting nicely in KingAir 90, Piper 28 and Cessnas. Is it possible, that misters in Bombardier haven't designet cockpit and I could have serious fitting issues?

Hi, I'm 1,96m and have over 2700 hours in the LJ60, should be no problem.
It's not spacious but hee, I also flew LJ23/24, and compared to that, it's an improvement.

I'm 6 foot 5 inches tall, sorry I don't have a conversion chart handy, and I flew Lear 24/25/28 without too many problems, however, as those aircraft had a short range I never had to sit in one for over a couple of hours.

From what I have observed looking in a Lear 60 cockpit there appears to be a lot more room than in the 20/30 series.

But Connie, it flies twice as long and doesn't have twice the space. :} Only the C-5, had a adequate sized flight deck for 10+ hours. My experience is seat comfort is more valuable than absolute room. The Challenger has better seats than the GLEX and, hence, is better over 6 hours, same size.
