No...but I have never seen one minority care about an election to the point of supporting a candidate with T-Shirts, voter registration, grass root efforts, allegiance, etc. as we see in this election as they support their candidate. It is such blatant racism, it makes me sick. I've seen a sign that say..."It's our time" and what do you think all the "change" is about?

The freshman senator from Illinois has been raised well by his white mother and white grand-parents but do you ever see pictures of him and them? He's a sell out, a racist and socialist. I won't even mention his wife that's never been proud of her country until last year.

All that said...I will render unto Caesar what is his.

It is such blatant racism, it makes me sick.

But it's not racist to be the majority and support a candidate that shares one's skin tone?

Obama does not have 95% of the Male Vote. He does not have 95% of the Female Vote. He does not have 95% of the Christian Vote. He does not have 95% of the Union Vote. He does not have 95% of the Government Worker Vote. (Hard to believe.) He does not even have 95 % of the Democratic Vote. Yet somehow, he has 95% of the Black Vote. And still, whites, excuse me, European Americans, are labeled as racists when they point out this fact or refuse to vote for this man.

No one in the history of modern national elections in this country has carried 95% of their own party and no white candidate has carried 95% of the white vote. In fact, in this election, it is nearly a statistical dead heat for whites who say that they intend to vote. Blacks, on the other hand, consistantly vote for black candidates and in this case, overwhelmingly have chosen the black candidate. Statistically, this is inexplicable.

There is racism in this country. It is a terrible mindset in ALL it's ugly forms.

All democrats poll around 90 percent with blacks, not just Obama. If I were black, and the Republicans voted against civil rights and FOR segregation in the 50's and 60's, I would be inclined to vote Democrat as well. The party of Jesse Helms? GMAFB. It's not racism, it's exactly what YOU would do in their shoes. My kids couldn't believe it was only 50 years ago that blacks could not go to the same schools, nor drink out of the same water fountains as whites.

There's a new generation taking over, and its about phucking time.

BTW, there is no reference to flying or SWA in this thread, so it will be deleted soon anyway! I predict it won't be here in the morning. :D

I think it's racist to vote for a candidate based only on their skin tone.

But it is racist when a white person doesn't vote for Obama?? Haven't we been told that is the case by many on the left?

Don't forget it was the Republicans that got the Civil Rights Act passed with many Democrats voting against it, one notable was Robert Byrd D-W VA who filibustered for 14 hours 13 minutes in opposition to the legislation.

Here's the vote total by Party for the three versions of the bill:

By party
The original House version:

Democratic Party: 152-96 (61%-39%)
Republican Party: 138-34 (80%-20%)The Senate version:

Democratic Party: 46-21 (69%-31%)
Republican Party: 27-6 (82%-18%)The Senate version, voted on by the House:

Democratic Party: 153-91 (63%-37%)
Republican Party: 136-35 (80%-20%)In each case approximately three times as many Democrats voted against the bill as Republicans.

*****NOTHING TO SEE HERE****

Have you noticed all the white guys and gals being investigated on the ACORN stories on CNN? Stealing the vote will be the legacy of this election. I have been telling every pollster that calls that I will be voting for OBAMA. I will even tell the exit pollster that as well. I cant wait to see this thing turn into American Idol.

If folks arent smart enough to register, they arent smart enough to understand the issues. Amazing how the economy hurts McCain when the morons watching the store the past two years are responsible for it happening. Journalism is dead.

George Miller, Congressman, D, CA, has proposed eliminating the deferrability of 401k's, citing that we,( and by this he means who?) have not realized real benefits from the 80 billion that is lost from potential taxes that would have been collected. For more: American Shareholders Association: George Miller Proposes Socializing 401(k)s (http://www.americanshareholders.org/2008/10/george-miller-p.html)

Is this the change you guys are looking for? I guess it is all the government's money, they are just letting us use it for now. That would be 80 billion more to spread around.

If you haven't read it, read "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand. We are there now.

Who cares what Colin Powell thinks. He has always been a politician masquerading as a soldier. This is his attempt to salvage his Washington reputation after being part of Bush's first term administration.

If you haven't read it, read "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand. We are there now.

Ayn Rand believed in Objectivism, a philosophy which believes in TOTAL seperation between the economy and the government. Basically the philosphy has been rejected by almost everyone except for a cult following mostly at the college student level.

Ayn Rand believed in absolute seperation between chruch and state, absolute seperation between the economy and government. She didn't have any concept of corporate corruption, or that money corrupts, and had no logical reasons to defend others contentions that without any regulation total corruption and the resultant anarchy would prevail.

She had half cocked opinions on everything like only certain arts (Romantacism) were really true art at all.

Since we now have bi-partisan support including a Republican sitting president spearheading the bailouts, I think its funny to conclude that anything Ayn Rand has ever felt about the economy could be a solution rather than the exact cause of this mess. We are in a partial "Atlas Shrugged" because a watered down version of Ayn Rand's Objectivism is exactly what got us here.

Shall we mention Marion Barry, only reason he keeps getting elected to an elected positionis because he is black. It has happened many times blacks will vote for a black candidate even when h hasa history of corruptio, drugs, crime, ect because he is black and well it must have been the white man. We all wish politics were color blind but the group that screams racisim the most is probably the most racist of all.
