According to latest news Jet Airways is laying off 850 crew starting wed. Theyre cutting down their base in Mumbai from the current 1903 crew due to losses in the industry.
They have cancelled a lot of their flights and a large number of crew have been Put off the rosters till further notice... scary!
Newspaper report says:
" The largest layoff in the history of the Indian aviation industry is expected to take place on wednesday when as many as 850 Jet Airways cabin crew members, mostly on probation, will receive termination letters. The airline courriered these letters late tuesday night."
