Hi there,

I may have a job opportunity in South Africa, however to get it I would need to convert my JAA CPL to a south african one. I have looked into this with the SA CAA, however the answers I have received are pretty vague.

Has anybody else done this, and if so can you explain to me what is involved, exams? Flight test? cost? etc.
Also if I want to fly a multi over there commercially, would I also need to convert my multi rating?
Cheers

BBR.
