Hi I was wondering if anyone can help.

After visiting the RAF Hendon museum, I contacted them regarding the layout of the old airfield.

I have received pictures of the old airfield layout and it clearly shows 3x concrete runways.

I was wondering if anyone knows the runway names (i.e. 26 / 06) and if possible the lengths.

From the pictures that I have received one runway has the heading number 10 on one end.

The runways were arranged in a cross formation with the centre section of each runway running through adjacent runways.

If I had a scanner I would post the pics.

thanks jabberwok, I was wondering if anyone knew when the runways were put in and then when they were removed.

I plan to update wikipedia with more details.
