Am researching on the aviation companies in Seletar, Singapore, such as Heli Orient, Singapore General Aviation Services Company (SGAS) and Anrite Aviation.

Would be most interested to hear from anyone who has worked or familiar with these companies.

I was quite familiar with Heli Orient between 1972 and 1985, they used to service some of our aircraft.

Not sure if I can help but what information are you looking for.

I know nothing, apart from Heli Orient used to maintain the Stearman I now fly.

Nice pics of the RMBR Bell 212 and Stearman. I was working in Heli Orient's QC Dept in 1980 during my student days under Mr Bong. Lots of Bells and Cessnas during that time, routing through for regional customers.

Would be grateful for any contributions of photos of 9V-registered aircraft.

Here's a pic of Anrite Aviation in 1978. Who's the owner of N3395S?

Thanks very much for posting the Stearman pic, great to see her when she was operating in that part of the world.

forget,

In your posted picture of the RMBR Bell 212, do you have the identities of the people in the line up? The fellow in the dark blue shirt in the center looks like it could be my friend Summuyah "Sam" Kurusamy and the next fellow to the right in the picture could be Chung " Mr. Chung" Eu Nee.

If so Sam has recently retired from Hawker Pacific with medical issues and Mr. Chung is still working (though approaching retirement) in that same hanger under the Jet Aviation banner.

Thanks for posting,

Cubs2jets, I've had a reply on this.

The guy is definitely not Summuyah. This Summuyah was ex-Singas/Dowty guy. The guy next to him is Chow, who went on to work for ST Aero and became their head LAE there, A & C for helicopters. The guy on the left of him is Lin, do not know where he went after Heli Orient. Chung is a fixed wing guy who was never in the Heli Hangar.

Other than that, it was 25 years ago and the best I can do is;

Left to Right.
