Hi
I would just like to tell you about Voices of the Poppies.
The poems in this anthology have been selected from ForcesPoetry.com – a website created for all poets, including members of the Armed Forces and their families.
Forces Poetry is part of the Forces Literary Organisation Worldwide for All (FLOW for ALL) which is dedicated to offering assistance to those who have suffered from the effects of war, especially the suffering shared by servicemen and women, their relatives and their friends.

I was given the honour to write a forward for the book along with Deborah Tainsh, mother of US Sergeant Patrick Tainsh (33)who gave his life for his country.
The introduction is written by by Dame Vera Lynn DBE

“Voices of the Poppies” features contemporary work; several of the poems have been written by children and some are pieces inspired by the 1st and 2nd World Wars, as well as current conflicts.

There will be a press & photo call: Saturday 1st November 2008 at 2.30pm
Venue: Jubilee Library, Jubilee Street, Brighton BN1 1GN

Dame Vera Lynn is the guest of honour.

The book can be pre-ordered from Amazon Amazon.co.uk: Voices of the Poppies: An Anthology by Forces Poetry: Dame Vera Lynn DBE: Books (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Voices-Poppies-Anthology-Forces-Poetry/dp/1906236100)

Bump. Mods, any chance of making this 'sticky', at least until the day after the book signing.
