Does anyone know the wing spar life on a HU-16A Grumman Albatross ?

Note : not the G-111 remanufactured HU-16s which use titanium spar caps and have a different life

I have searched FAA and other databases and found nothing

I heard it was 5,500 hrs which seems very low

Anyone know or can point me in the right direction for info ?

The wing life limit on the Albatross varies with each individual airframe. On the short wing version (HU-16A, HU-16C, UF-1, SA-16A) there is no life limit. On the long wing version it is
listed in the Type Certificate Data Sheet (Look up TCDS A33SO on the FAA Website).
