After 14years our illustrious Senior Management has deemed it necessary to lay down the sword and admit defeat !!

The entire group will be sold to Air Turks and Caicos [aka InterIsland Airways] on 22October 2008, the BE1900 fleet will be sent to the USA for storage pending sale and the rest of the assets including the fuel company/ground handling unit etc will cease operating under the Skyking flag.

The personnel are being treated pretty decently and revceiving full redundancy pay, some will get positions with the ATC group but many may be left wondering what to do.

Still its just a microscopic shot of the entire industry.

Good Luck to all

So, have the 1900s been parked?

Where and does anyone know which, if any, sales broker will be used to sell the them?

BBB
