Good day to all!

I recently had an ecocardiography that showed no abnormalities, except for a "Type 1R Atrial Septal Aneurysm, no apparent shunt, 10mm excursion". There is no PFO.

I was wondering if this condition could be invalidating for 1st class JAR-FCL or FAA. The JAR-FCL 3 documents do not mention this type of condition and I could not find any mention anywhere on the net.
Thank you in advance!

Marco

What was the reason for doing the echocardiogram?

Extrasystole. I had succesfully undergone non-invasive ablation therapy 2 years ago.

JAR-FCL 3 says:
Class 1 applicants having undergone successful catheter ablation shall be restricted to OML operations for at least one year, unless an electrophysiological study, undertaken at a minimum of two months after the ablation, demonstrates satisfactory results. For those in whom the long term outcome cannot be assured by invasive or non-invasive testing, an additional period of restriction and / or observation may be necessary.

But I could not find any info on the Atrial Sept Aneurysm.
