Can you guys pipe it down when you are in the ISM room. When we report to work lets adopt a more prefessional attitude. It's like a fish market in there!

As a customer (recognizing that there are exceptions in both directions) I am always much happier to get on a flight and see a Pinay ISM than a local one at the door. Several hundred flights of experience tells me that I'm far more likely to enjoy the following hours.

And with the recent change in recruitment policies it seems that CX Management has finally got that message too, thankfully!

A bit of a broad brush you're using there and a bit unfair, there are some good local ISM's.

And a lot of good Thai, Japanese, Malaysian and Singaporian ISM's too.

Oh God, Christep is back again ..... He must have been thrown out of the "Traveling Telephone Salesman" Forum, The "Plane Spotting and the MANY things I know about Planes" Forum AND the "I could have been a Pilot BUT .............." forum.

"Fragrant Harbour A forum for the large number of pilots (expats and locals) based with the various airlines in Hong Kong. Air Traffic Controllers are also warmly welcomed into the forum."

wongsuzie etc :

that's the true CATHAY spirit, great !! Under no circumstances should ANY expression of joy, good mood or socialising be seen during work !!

As one told me during initial training :

rule number one:

- look concerned
- admit nothing
- deny everything

get a life:yuk:

err, not that type of niose. Its the rattaling off in tagalog, handphones with Hello Kitty ringtones at full volume, etc.

Just respect the diff between a 'private space and a 'public' space -there is a difference.

A bit of a broad brush you're using there and a bit unfair, there are some good local ISM's.

And a lot of good Thai, Japanese, Malaysian and Singaporean ISM's too.Yes, sorry, I was just responding to the specific point, but I agree, it's very rare to get a bad non-HK ISM.

Come back from flight jsut want to check in on a flight but:

They are massing at staff check-in,clogging up the co. bus tons of bags, boxes at check in.And then the HELLO KITTY ring tone!

Every else keeps a dignified low profile but our friends from thyphoon ville..

While we're bitching... it doesnt matter what temperature you'd like it to be at in the cabin, the pax are the ones sweating their arses off under those new fluffy douvets! Most of the time they cant use them because its too damn hot back there... 25C is not comfortable.

Not in the bus they don't. +/- 2 ½°C is all they have control of.:ok:
