IE4/5

I have just changed from netscape 3 to internet exprlorer 4 and have a question I hope
someone can help with.

In netscape I could switch off the images to speed things up. Can I do this in IE4? If so
how.

I have IE 5 on my machine, but I seem to remember it's about the same place:

Choose View > Internet Options > Advanced, scroll down to Multimedia and there should be a check-box called Show pictures you can deactivate.
